چکیده

Open window mapping (OWM) is a novel automated methods for catheter ablation of an accessory pathway (AP), in which the local signal annotated with windows interest parameters set to analyze both atrial and ventricular signals. We sought determine utility OWM identify location APs patients APs. In this two-center study, 28 (20 male, 55 years old: IQR 22-67) who underwent high-density extended early-meets-late (EEML) algorithm (CARTO 3, Biosense Webstar, USA) using 20-electrode, 5-spline (Pentaray, Webster) were enrolled. The lower threshold EEML was adjust gap match propagation (Figure A) > 1cm defined as wide AP B). median points, time, 2399 points (1736-3798), 24 minutes (16-30), 22 (18-25), respectively. successfully eliminated all (22 mitral annulus six tricuspid annulus), 19 by first radiofrequency (RF) application (68%). revealed or multiple 10 (36%), whom RF applications required eliminate facilitates visualize width APs, particularly useful predict whether linear cluster lesion sets are

Catheter inversion technique for ablation of parahisian accessory pathway.

A case of WPW Syndrome due to parahisian accessory pathway was ablated by the catheter inversion technique. The pathway could not be eliminated by direct femoral approach using repeated high radiofrequeny energy ablation. No pathway potential was seen in the aortic cusps. Instead, it was successfully ablated by curving the ablation catheter underneath the septal leaflet of the tricuspid valve t...

Temperature-Guided Radiofrequency Catheter Ablation of Accessory Pathway

OBJECTIVES This study was performed to evaluate the usefulness of temperature-guided radiofrequency catheter ablation for the elimination of accessory pathway conduction in patients with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome. METHODS Temperature-guided radiofrequency catheter ablation was attempted in 138 patients with 144 accessory pathways (88 pathways along the left free wall, 5 in the anterosept...

Catheter Ablation of Accessory Pathways

Background. Animal studies have suggested that the temperature of the electrode-tissue interface during radiofrequency catheter ablation accurately predicts lesion size. The purpose of the current study was to evaluate the utility of continuous temperature monitoring during radiofrequency catheter ablation in patients with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome. Methods and Results. Twenty patients wit...

Different Approaches for Catheter Ablation of Para-Hisian Accessory Pathways: Implications for Mapping and Ablation.

BACKGROUND Catheter ablation of para-Hisian accessory pathways (APs) can be challenging because of adjacent conduction tissue. Some different approaches for ablation, including the inferior vena cava approach (IVC-A), the noncoronary cusp approach (NCC-A), or the superior vena cava approach (SVC-A), have been reported. However, when should para-Hisian APs be mapped and ablated by the IVC-A, NCC...

Adenosine mapping for adenosine-dependent accessory pathway ablation.

BACKGROUND This study describes the use of adenosine during ablation procedures to allow conduction through adenosine-dependent accessory pathways (APs), which are inactive at the time of the procedure. The technique allows for successful mapping and ablation of these pathways. METHODS Retrospective review of all patients undergoing AP ablation from 1998 to 2008 to identify patients with abse...
